The
Aviation Museum – Here you will find
the worlds greatest collection of historical flying
aircraft. The museum hosts regular fly in days and
is a must see for any enthusiast. Open for guided
tours daily. The Aviation Museum is located on the
northern outskirts of Temora. Take the main street
towards West Wyalong and turn left at the Triangle
Park. ( Before John Deere Dealership and Clevedons
Steel) Follow this road to the railway line and cross
over. The road takes a right hand curve and you proceed
another ¾ of a kilometre. The Museum is on
your left and well sign posted.
Temora Rural Museum –
Award winning museum that will transport you back
in time to early pioneering days of rural NSW. This
is the most outstanding museum of its type in Australia
and must not be missed. Open 2.00pm to 5.00pm daily.
Featuring Don Bradmans birthplace cottage, 100’s
of working examples of old machinery and the original
plant from Hardy’s Flourmill.
From the Cottage it is 2 kms out
on the Wagga Wagga road. Go back to the main street
and head south towards Wagga/Junee. Cross the railway
line and the Museum is another 300 metres on your
left. Just past the Caravan Park.
Heritage Walk –
This path takes in the Heritage area of Temora. You
are staying in the heart of it. There are many fine
early architectural examples of churches, dwellings
and commercial premises. A lovely stroll through our
beautiful town.

Ariah
Park Village – Located 30kms from Temora
on the Burley Griffin Way to Griffith. Ariah Park
is a living example of what rural life was like early
last century. The Ariah Park Hotel is a magnificent
building and the pressed metal, lattice and tile work
should not be missed. (Good opportunity to sample
the wares as well.)
Tourist Information –
The local Tourist information centre is located in
the library building in the main street. From the
cottage it is a short walk. Turn right from the Cottage
gate and right again at the first road. (Victoria
Rd) Walk to Hoskins St and cross over to the western
side. Turn left and the Tourist Info building is on
the corner of the second block down. Open weekdays
8.30 – 5.00
