Emergency
In event of emergency leave the building immediately
unless advised otherwise by emergency services
personnel. Smoke detectors are fitted to all
rooms. If activated in the event of fire leave
the building by the nearest available exit.
Congregate on the footpath in front of the building
at a safe distance. Contact emergency services
on 000 immediately. The house phone is located
in the kitchen area. It is on the phone bench
next to the left hand side exit door. The phone
is blocked to limit calls to local area only,
but you can dial 000 if needed.
Checkout
Check in is preferred at 4.00pm.
Checkout is normally at 10.00 am. Please ensure
your account has been settled prior to departure.
Late checkout can be arranged at management’s
discretion.
Security
Guests are responsible for the security of any
items brought to the cottage. Please ensure
your belongings are safely stored and your room
locked when unattended. Room doors can be locked
from the inside. As a safety precaution when
locking the door internally, leave the key in
the door to allow quick exit in case of emergency.
It is our policy that no
other parties other than paying guests be permitted
in the building. This is a safety issue that
must be adhered to.
A room and front door key
will be provided for each room. There is a $20.00
replacement fee for each key set if misplaced.
Please ensure that the building is secure before
retiring. Remember other guests may be relying
on your vigilance.
Guest Etiquette
As other parties may be staying in separate
or adjoining rooms guests are asked to show
consideration for others when in the Cottage.
Please refrain from unruly, anti social or any
behaviour that will have an adverse affect on
others. We want everyone to enjoy their stay
and normal courteous and considerate behaviour
is expected. Anyone not complying with our guest
etiquette guidelines will be asked to leave
and will forfeit any money paid.

Breakfast
Breakfast is provided between 8.00am and 10.00am.
Early or late breakfasts can be supplied at
management’s discretion. Menus are retained
in the dining room.
The fridge is available for
use by all guests. If you wish to store drinks,
food or snacks in the fridge you are more than
welcome. Management are not responsible for
any items stored in the fridge by guests. It
is an honour system that everyone is asked to
respect.
Room Cleaning
Rooms will be serviced between 10.00 & 11.00am.
If you do not require new towels please leave
them hanging on the towel rail provided. If
you need clean towels please leave dirty towels
in the shower. This will assist in limiting
the water we use in these dry times.
Heating & Cooling
The Cottage is thermostatically temperature
controlled. Each room has ducting vents where
guests can manually adjust the level of airflow.
Please do not adjust the main control unit for
the system. If you wish to have it adjusted
please contact the management. Every room has
a fireplace that may be used if desired. All
windows are securely gauzed and you are free
to open them and allow the fresh country air
in.
Electronic Funds Transfer
EFTPOS is available for account payment. No
cash out is available. Guests will be charged
1% levee on all credit card transactions. Corporate
and premium cards will attract a 3% levee. We
are only passing on charges levied against us
by the bank that supplies the Eftpos facility.
Laundry/Ironing
There is a all hours Laundromat, The Temora
Coin Laundry, located at the Southern end of
the Main St. You can access all your laundry
needs from there. An iron and ironing board
is provided for guests use. They are situated
in the storage cupboards in the dining area.
You can use it there or relocate it to your
room. Please ensure there is sufficient water
in the iron before use and that it is returned
for other guests to use. |
